Why should the networks get away with charging up to 12p a text?
We're just a small group of ordinary guys who wondered whether it would be possible to use the mobile internet to text almost for free. To cut a long story short, we found it could.
Once we'd got the mobile internet messaging sorted, we added 'free' email. Then we found a way sending a traditional SMS from tex2 to any phone, anywhere in the world for just 5p.
Then, best of all, we decided to make tex2 available to everyone, for free.
