tex2 has spread across the planet because of articles and features like these. It is now being used by tens of thousands of people in 54 countries. We haven't spent a penny on advertising (because we don't make a penny out of tex2: we're running the service to save you money.)
We tell the press that:
- we invented tex2 because we had a hunch we could. And thought people would like to text for around ½p a message. Aren't the networks rich enough?
- we don't earn anything from you downloading the programme or sending a tex2 --- the money still goes to the networks. Just a lot less of it.
- tex2 is there for everyone to use, wherever in the world they are (tex2 is currently being used in 54 countries)
